The Centre for Community Mapping was established in 2005 to provide collaborative geomatics
software research and development services for communities of practice (CoP) that engage civil society.
COMAP collaborative geomatics services for dynamic asset mapping that communities of practice use
- by creating a shared inventory of assets and
- acting together on that knowledge to create value, change and new assets (2 + 2 = 5)
- and updating asset mapping dynamically.
